“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” (Revelation 1:17-18)
Burden I have not been a good example I have done so many things wrong I have stumbled, slipped, have fallen Broken chords are void of true song How can I make them listen? How can I now make them see? Though I am a flawed, imperfect person He still came and rescued, even me me, who has done things unspeakable me, who has lied, murdered, betrayed me, who ran from her First Love The me, He conquered and saved Now I cry when I see Him I cry when His Presence I feel I cry when I see the pain I’ve caused Yet He bids me to come and to kneel I don’t have all the answers But I know He has made me new I know I am truly forgiven I know He is faithful and true How do I explain this redemption? The great love displayed on the Cross? How everything I counted as gain, I now count as nothing but loss? How do I make you see His mercy? How do I make you see His great love? How do I appeal to sin-clouded hearts? How do I turn their eyes above? In and of myself I can do nothing I know the Spirit of God must move He opens eyes, unstops deaf ears He brings new life, He proves Oh Lord, don’t let them judge You Through the faults and failings of flesh Cause them to look to You alone To Your one perfect atoning death You, who gave Your only begotten Son To save a wretched woman like me You, whose wrath was satisfied in Christ So that I could be marvelously set free Call their name, bid them “Come” In Your mercy, by Your amazing grace Break through every obstacle erected That they may see Your Glorious Face Father, You know how much I love them You know too the damage that I’ve done But I believe nothing can stop You Despite me, let them see Your Precious Son He is not just a Prophet He is not just some Good Man He is the Son of God Eternal He is God, the Great I AM Capture their hearts Holy Father Lead them home Precious Christ Open their eyes Blessed Holy Spirit Let them taste of You and have eternal life… Written by Anne Marie Hawke July 2022 To subscribe to my blog or to find out more about my writing, please visit my website at hawkewriter.com

My dear Friend, God has given you such a wonderful gift of reaching down into the human soul and speaking to us about how much our Lord loves each one of us and forgives all the ugly, no mater how bad. All we have to do us accept thus beautifu, Loving and forgiving Love

Someone once said that true art is the ability to express the inexpressible. God has given you an ability to speak what we cannot and our hearts are full of His glory! Jim and Cindi

Beautiful. We are so not perfect, but HE is and loves us anyway. Let others see HIM despite us! Love you.

Thanks for sharing your heart so beautifully and honestly! I know Jesus always reminds me how deeply he loves me, and cherishes me and I picture him taking you by the hand and embracing you as his dearly loved daughter. ❤️
